The food was outstanding. Brisket queso and side table guacamole was off the chart! The place was quiet and cozy! Service was about right. Will def be going back!
Made a quick stop here prior to getting to my vacation destination, service is very quick, and servers are friendly. Pricing is very affordable and worth it. On to the food- the brisket taco is a MUST try, definitely my favorite and wish I would've ordered more than one. I personally didn't like the pork tamale, too much masa in comparison to the meat but still very tasty.
Anamia's is such a special place to us. The food is outstanding and the people here are incredible and so sweet. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. I have not had a single bad experience or dish at Anamia's. The Tejanos Nachos, Brisket Queso, tableside quacamole, quesadillas, The Barrio Bowl with Salmon (my favorite), The Javier, Poblano A La Parilla, and the fajitas are some things we have order over the years and enjoyed. I went on one of many first dates with my husband and he even asked his daughter about proposing marriage to me here. We hired Anamia's to cater two holiday events for the volunteers of the Arise Special Needs Ministry at Irving Bible Church and the events were very successful with the volunteers. The prices for catering are very reasonable and the quality of the food is very good.
Really great experience. We went around 4:30pm on a Tuesday (absolutely dead) and received great service! They turned on the fans/misters on the patio which was dramatically cooling on a 92 degree day. They were also very welcoming of our dog on the patio. I went inside briefly to use the restroom and the indoor ambiance was also beautiful. The food was excellent! A mix of meat and veggie options - all delightful! They brought out a small dessert for my moms birthday and sang happy birthday! Highly recommend anytime you are in the mood for TEX-MEX!
In a town full of TexMex, Anamias brings unique and delightful items. I love the guacamole cart presentation. Fresh guacamole made table side to your liking! The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Kudos to management & corporate, very well-run operation! Can't wait to come back and sit on the patio again!
I went here this past Tuesday for lunch. I had the beef fajitas and sangria (shhhhh...don't tell my boss!). My meal and drink were delicious! The meat was tender, the veggies were cooked perfectly, and the chips and salsa for the table were addictive. My sangria got me right for a long afternoon. I knocked one star for the amount of meat I got and for the waitress. I had more onions than meat, and the waitress was truly on island time when we live in Dallas. The restaurant itself was very cute .
